CEITEC – Central European Institute of Technology Brno University of Technology has recently enriched its laboratories with a new version of the Telight Q-Phase working on the basis of quantitative phase imaging. The new device will help scientists at CEITEC to research e.g. the possibilities of personalized cancer treatment.
“Previous experience has made it possible to optimize the design of the latest version of the microscope, facilitate its operation and, in particular, improve the display parameters. This is important both for the innovation of the research methodology of living cells, especially cancer cells and for more accurate measurements in the field of nanomaterials,” says prof. Radim Chmelík, head of the research group Experimental Biophotonics at CEITEC BUT, and the Czech Head – Invention Award 2016 winner.
